Program Control Analyst

The Analytical Solutions Division (ASD) of Applied Research Associates (ARA), Inc.
, has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Program Control Analyst with a strong background in Scheduling, Integration and data management with a knowledge of gravity weapon systems.
The successful applicant will support the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC); identify and coordinate program data bases, coordinate flight and ground test logistics related to the B61 and coordinate / manage competing priorities.
This position requires strong technical background and analytical skills.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Manage, update, execute and verify correlation of tests assets and requirements with specific program objectives and expected outcomes.
Analyze and coordinate conditions to determine overall effect on weapon system cost, schedule and performance.
Evaluate multiple conditions on individual data bases for cumulative effects on the system.
Monitor, track, analyze and identify possible failure modes and make recommendations for actions to resolve negative trends.
Manage, update, execute and verify system performance, survivability, vulnerability and system effectiveness activities.
Provide briefings, papers, reports, memorandums, and documentation on the support provided for the Directorate and prepare senior level briefings, presentations, and white papers.
Write, develop, and publish guidance on behalf of directorate leadership to communicate priorities with regards to initiatives within the program.
Required Skills:
Following general experience and knowledge required:
Candidate shall have demonstrated experience with Microsoft Project (i.
e.
including basic schedule logic relationship management, as well as the incorporation of multiple source schedules, using imbedded Microsoft Project analysis tools and interfacing multiple schedules).
Must have demonstrated proficiency in the preferred software Kidasa Milestones (i.
e.
including basic skill to update existing TLS templates, as well as be able to integrate schedule data into the display, customize the appearance of milestones and activities and create customized TLS outputs).
Must be able to provide support and understand technical jargon and system nuances to ensure effective development of plans, schedules and coordination of efforts for test and integration considerations for multiple flight platforms.
Working knowledge and experience with coordination of plans, documents, reports and data bases.
Ability to manage and prioritize numerous assignments.
Organization and time management skills.
Demonstrated excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.

Qualifications:
Candidates must meet the following requirements and have the following skill level for the respective position:
Applicant must be a U.
S.
citizen and possess an ACTIVE Secret ClearanceBachelor's degree from and accredited institution with 2 - 4 years of related (project support or management) experience.
Minimum:
3 years DoD program experience relating to ACAT programs.
Experience in DoDI 5000.
2 acquisition processes and be familiar with the Air Force Nuclear Certification Process (AFI 63-125).
Must be available and willing to work flexible hours occasionally.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
