Qualifications:
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions, General Inspection, Investigation, Enforcement, and Compliance Series, 1801. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-13, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes the ability to comprehend organizational leadership requirements and implement policies, instructions and directives for consistent accomplishment of agency requirements; experience in completing the duties and responsibilities described with the position; possess technical competencies to perform identified functional position requirements; and make sound, well informed, and objective decisions while perceiving the impact and implications of decisions, and committing to actions to accomplish organizational goals. Expert knowledge of Air Force Inspection System (AFIS) to include leadership experience in conducting unit effectiveness inspections, management inspections and directed inspections or similar assessment programs such as those used in operational or developmental testing. FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS:
Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in- grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-13 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-14 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs):
Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Demonstrated expert knowledge of Air Force Inspection System (AFIS) to include leadership experience in conducting unit effectiveness inspections, management inspections and directed inspections or similar assessment programs such as those used in operational or developmental testing. 2. Exceptional skills in managing projects, the scope of which often affect the entire Air and Space Force. Expert knowledge of the application of a wide range of qualitative/quantitative methods for use in the assessment and improvement of Air Force processes. 3. Expert knowledge of analytical and evaluative management methods and thorough understanding of how programs are administered to select and apply appropriate measurement techniques to evaluate program effectiveness and results. 4. Demonstrated advanced interpersonal skills that enable the incumbent to diplomatically, convincingly, professionally, clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy promote effective working relationships, some of which may be contentious in nature. Expert skill in written and oral communication to present issues and recommendations. 5. Requires the ability to work in a multi-functional environment involving interaction with the highest executive and management levels of the Air and Space Force, DOD and Joint Service. Requires extensive knowledge of the complex interrelationships of the many levels of decision making authority in order to correlate responsibilities of these organizations in resolving management issues that cross multiple functional and organizational boundaries. 6. Must be thoroughly knowledgeable of the functions of the Inspector General and functional interrelationships among command missions, programs, systems, procedures, and activities, plus the regulatory framework in which they operate, to direct the assessments and inspections of Air and Space Force-wide policies, programs, and procedures of Air Force programs and processes. Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. VOLUNTEER WORK

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
