Staff Design Engineer/Architect Services - Contingent Upon Award

Experience & Education
The Staff Design Engineer/Architect must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a program certified by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) or in architecture from a program certified by the National Architecture Accrediting Board.
Each Staff Design Engineer/Architect must have a minimum of five (5) years' experience in facility and infrastructure design.
Each Staff Design Engineer/Architect shall meet the following New Mexico State Licensure requirements applicable to their discipline:
Civil engineer shall have and maintain professional registration as an engineer under the requirements of the New Mexico State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Professional Surveyors (http://www.sblpes.state.nm.us/).
Mechanical engineer shall have and maintain professional registration as an engineer under the requirements of the New Mexico State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Professional Surveyors (http://www.sblpes.state.nm.us/).
Electrical engineer shall have and maintain professional registration as an engineer under the requirements of the New Mexico State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Professional Surveyors (http://www.sblpes.state.nm.us/).
Structural engineer shall have and maintain professional registration as an engineer under the requirements of the New Mexico State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Professional Surveyors (http://www.sblpes.state.nm.us/), based on having passed the Structural Engineering exam (see http://ncees.org/engineering/se/ and NMAC 16.39.3.8).
Fire Protection engineer shall have and maintain professional registration as an engineer under the requirements of the New Mexico State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Professional Surveyors (http://www.sblpes.state.nm.us/), based on having passed the Fire Protection Engineering exam (see http://ncees.org/engineering/pe/, NMAC 16.39.3.8 and Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 3-600-01 Fire Protection Engineering for Facilities, paragraphs 2-1.15.2 through 2-1.15.2.2).
Must have a Final Secret clearance at time of hire.
Additional experience/education may be required by contract and will be listed separately.
Physical Requirements/Working Environment
Works in a normal office environment with controlled temperature and lighting conditions for CONUS locations.
For OVS assignments, may be required to respond to a wide variety of operational circumstances, including extreme weather conditions and rudimentary infrastructure.
Travel
Travel requirements will vary with assignment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
