Position
Summary: Serves as a Librarian at the Phillips Research Site (PRS) Technical Library and ensures that the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated to the government and contractor teams and integrated into the strategies, goals, objectives, work plans and work products and services.

MAJOR DUTIES:
Serves as a Librarian at the Phillips Research Site (PRS) Technical Library and ensures that the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision, and values are communicated to the government and contractor teams and integrated into the strategies, goals, objectives, work plans and work products and services.
Performs literature searches and related reference services for library customers.
Interviews and interacts with scientist and engineers to establish user needs and requirements; devises appropriate search strategies; and handles complex subject matter in the areas of space vehicles and directed energy.
Responsible for complete operation and maintenance of the PRS Technical Reports Vault.
Performs reference services and literature searches for Technical Vault customers to include not only the vault but other databases, libraries, etc.; and ensures compliances with Federal Law in accessing proprietary and limited distribution information.
SPECIALIZED
Experience: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent at least to the next lower band DR-01 band Level or GS-11 grade level or equivalent in an alternate pay system. Specialized experience is experience in 3 out of 5 of the following: performing literature searches and references services related to space vehicles and/or directed energy; devising literature search strategies; performing literature searches using electronic databases and/or other alternative methods of acquiring and/or delivering materials; providing technical and/or budget recommendations related to library services/management; OR performing contracting management related to library services/management.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
