Summary:/
GIS/CADD specialist in support of Base Comprehensive Planning, field/facility surveying, facility space utilization and custodial programs. Support & maintain the Common Installation Picture (CIP) and the IGI&S geo-database.

Perform facility survey's designed to gather information for space utilization, update existing floor plans and determine base custodial services required.
Prepare new mapping, maintain and update all existing mapping supporting the Comprehensive Plan, Common Installation Picture (CIP), Appendix 5 of the contractors Statemenf of Work (SOW).
Perform maintenance, updates and additions to existing geo-database which provides data for all mapping and the webased geographical information system (Geobase).
Provide support to the IGI&S coordinator as required andensure all data within the geo-database is SDS/FIE (Spatial Data Standards for Facilities, Infrastructure and Environment) compliant.
Provide GIS/CAD drafting and plotting services to internal and external customers of the Engineering Department. Communicate with customers on all job requests and GIS/CAD-related requirements.
Monitor the performance of computer design system to ensure it is operating properly and makes adjustments to resolve minor software problems.
Set up, operate and maintain reproduction equipement. Adjust controls for proper operation and optimum print quality. Responsible for the condition and upkeep of the equipment. Assist civilian and military personnel on use of equipment (e.g., replacing paper, print cartridges andtoner, un-jamming, etc.)
Use the provided version of AutoCAD to prepare/edit drawings as required.

Associates Degree
Two plus years of working experience in the use of ESRI ArcGIS Desktop software, AutoCAD 2008 or newer.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication and team oriented skills
Working experience using geo-databases.
Architectural design experience, preferred
Possession of a valid driver's license.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Position of Public Trust.
